SV Sandhausen presents new FIFA Gamers

After a one-year break, SV Sandhausen is back in the VBL. The club will initially represent two eSports gamers. An old acquaintance as well as a new signing from 1. FC Köln.

SV Sandhausen announced the first players representing the club in the new season of the Virtual Bundesliga. Jan-Niklas 'D3r_B0mb3R_' Flöck and Nicholas "Fetze" Jöst are the first two squad members. With Jöst, an already familiar face returns to Sandhausen. The 24-year-old FIFA professional has already described the club during his first VBL season in 2019. Although Sandhausen finished last in this season, Fezte was the most successful player in his team.

Also, the second new signing of SV Sandhausen is already a well-known face in the Virtual Bundesliga. Niklas Flöck was previously a member of the squad of the VBL team of 1. FC Köln and has already been in two VBL Grand Finals. Most recently, he represented the eSport team of German national goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Play offs are the goal

With the new eSport gamers, the club wants to reach at least the playoffs of the VBL. Despite the outsider role of SV Sandhausen, the players are optimistic about reaching this goal. To achieve this goal, the club wants to sign two more gamers. The second Bundesliga league side wants to close this gap with a scouting tournament. The remaining squad places are to be allocated here.
