Griezmann with Olympique Marseille
The French club Olympique Marseille cooperates with Grizi Esport to join in FIFA 21., which was found by Antonie Griezmann. The Barca star has been involved in eSports with his brother Theo Griezmann since January this year.
For the upcoming 2020/21 season, two players from Grizi Esport will play for OM in various competition. In addition to the FIFA Global Series, OM also wants to participate in national and international competitions. This includes eLigue1, equivalent to the German Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) and determines the French champions.
OM's Herve Phillipe sees the collaboration with Grizi Esport as an opportunity to understand the 'eSports' endeavour better and to reach a younger audience from the digital generation". As soon as local tournaments are possible again, Marseille's football stadium, the Orange Vélodrome, will also be the venue for eSport events.
Grizi Esport make a deal with eLigue1-Meister
Last months Grizi Esport signed eWorld Cup semi-finalist Fouad "Rafsou" Fare, who represented Olympique Lyon and reached the top 8 in the championship. Amine "Mino7x" Boughanmi, who won eLigue1 for AS Saint-Étienne last season, will join Rafou's side. With these players, OM will prepare for the coming FIFA season to aim for big success.
