FVM-ePokal: Qualify now for the DFB-ePokal

On 28 January 2021, the FVM will host the FVM-ePokal in FIFA 21 on PS4 and Xbox for the first time. Applications are open for teams of three to five players aged 16 and over until 20 January 2021 at the latest. The game will be played in 90-team mode with teams from the German 1st Bundesliga, 2nd Bundesliga and 3rd Liga.

Amateur teams will then play for their club for the title and a place in the first round of the DFB-ePokal. The winning team from the FVM area qualifies together with other ePokal teams from the 3rd Bundesliga, the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga, the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) and the other winning clubs from the regional associations for the "Final Day of the Qualifiers". The 20 best teams determined there will then move on to the tournament's main round, where the best qualifiers on each console and twelve eFootball teams from professional teams will meet in Berlin in the spring of 2021 and fight for the title of winner of the DFB-ePokal.

The facts about the FVM-ePokal at a glance:


A team consists of three to a maximum of five players who have reached the age of 16. At least one player must be a member of the football club under whose name the team wishes to compete in the FVM-ePokal.


On 28 January 2021 at 17:00. The check-in period starts at 16.00.


The tournament is a team competition and will be played online in FIFA 21 90 mode. It will be played exclusively with teams of the 1st Bundesliga, the 2nd Bundesliga or the 3rd Liga.


Online on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The tournament is played on the platform of the DFB.


A victory in a one-on-one is awarded one point. The first team to score two points wins the tournament.

What are the requirements to participate in the tournament?

One team member must be a member of a club in the association's territory to participate as a team. You also need internet access and a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, including FIFA 21.
