bevestor signs as the name partner of the VBL
Just in time for the start of the new VBL season, the league gets a new name on Tuesday. In future, Germany's best FIFA gamers will compete in the bevestor Virtual Bundesliga Club Championship. This means that the Virtual Bundesliga will have a name sponsorship again after a one-year break. Until 2019, the watch company TAG Heuer was a sponsor of the VBL.
The new name sponsor of VBL comes from the financial sector. bevestor is a subsidiary of DekaBank. The company mainly sells digital assets. In addition to the league, the clubs in particular benefit from the sponsoring. The DFL, the organiser of the league, and all 26 participating clubs participate in the proceeds.
Extensive sponsoring planned
The new VBL partner has secured the right to use the name of the virtual form of the Bundesliga for two years. In addition to the right to use the Bundesliga's name, the sponsorship includes additional elements. The logo of the financial company will be visible on all the clubs' jerseys. bevestor will also provide the highlight segment of the VBL show.
